    Descripción

    The Maitre D is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the restaurant floor, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining operational excellence. This role involves direct supervision of staff, adherence to service standards, inventory management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and sales.


    Funciones

    • Supervise the opening and closing of food and beverage outlets.
    • Oversee food service and ensure adherence to quality standards and presentation.
    • Supervise and evaluate the performance of restaurant staff, assigning tasks as needed.
    • Ensure proper mise en place and adherence to health and safety regulations.
    • Stay updated on daily house counts, group arrivals, VIPs, and online guest reviews.
    • Possess extensive knowledge of menus, quality standards, and presentation.
    • Resolve guest-related issues promptly and efficiently.
    • Enforce hotel standards and operational procedures.
    • Manage inventories (wines, silverware, linen, accessories).
    • Conduct daily briefings and prepare fortnightly staff schedules.
    • Collaborate with the food and beverage team for function setups.
    • Complete evaluations of team members and verify proper presentation standards.
    • Oversee stock levels and order supplies.
    • Drive up-sales and train staff according to the specific service type of each restaurant.

    Requisitos

    • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, specifically in restaurant management.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of managers.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
