The A/C Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), fan coil systems, and refrigeration units across our resort property. This role ensures optimal climate control and comfort for our guests and team members while maintaining maximum operational efficiency and strict safety standards.

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on guest room A/C units, fan coil units, split systems, central air handlers, and cooling infrastructure.

• Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults promptly to restore climate control systems to optimal functionality.

• Component Servicing: Clean, repair, and replace air filters, coils, thermostats, control valves, ductwork insulation, and condensate drainage lines.

• Refrigerant & System Testing: Measure pressure, temperature, and airflow levels; safely test and recharge refrigerant systems in compliance with environmental and safety codes.

Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Safety Standards: Enforce occupational health and safety protocols, fire-fighting precautions, and proper handling of tools, hazardous materials, and refrigerants.

• Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to guest room and facility work orders regarding air conditioning, temperature adjustments, or ventilation issues.

• Inventory & Documentation: Maintain accurate record logs of completed work orders, equipment inspections, parts usage, and spare parts inventory.
