Ocean Signature Resorts is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Kitchen Technician to join our maintenance team. As a Kitchen Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our culinary facilities by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.

Funciones

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repair: Analyze, inspect, troubleshoot, install, rebuild, and replace commercial kitchen appliances (gas, electric, steam), refrigeration equipment, and HVAC systems.
• Preventive Care: Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Daily Operations: Conduct daily inspection rounds to verify proper equipment operation and perform basic engineering tasks.
• Plumbing & Safety: Repair and maintain kitchen plumbing systems and respond immediately to repair work orders, including emergency situations like fire alarms.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed equipment files, track work performed, and manage parts inventory/requisitions.
• Team Leadership: Oversee junior technicians, assign duties, and provide training for team members.
• Communication: Collaborate with the Executive Chef regarding special equipment needs and report all safety hazards or deficiencies to your supervisor immediately
